In addition to events like this around the holidays, MPD engages in several other community engagement programs such as “Coffee with a Cop” events, gift card giveaways on car stops and other interactions, “Caught Being Safe” ice cream tokens for kids, as well as various forms of social media. I’m interested to hear about what other departments do for outreach in their communities. Please share!
