Hello everyone, I wanted to share an app that I use As a resource at the police academy. Some of the cadets that I've taught over the years have been using it and have told me they like it. The app is called Be My Eyes, it helps visually impaired people connect with volunteers through video to help them identify anything from what dollar bill they're holding to what color shirt they have on. I know this isn't necessarily your traditional law enforcement post but over the years, sharing this with cadets at the academy has provided them a perspective that I can't teach in our LD37 classroom. If you are teaching about disabilities this is a great resource. https://www.bemyeyes.com/
